Mills and Boon Retro Book purse!
Retro romance is back and this sweet Mills and Boon purse is sure to have you swooning at the seams! This bespoke creation features an original Mills and Boon book cover, Ann Charlton's 'Street Song', matched with an upcycled purse.
Mills and Boon is one of the world's best selling romance publishers. This is a unique gift for a romance or retro buff.
The book purse has a pink nylon lining and will hold all your cards, coins and cash, plus any love letters. :) It has been especially hand selected because the colours of the purse match with the cover of the book, making it pop! The purse also features a silver pop clasp and pale blue hand strap, which can easily be detached so you can mix up your look.

Care and Instructions:
To preserve the life of your unique book purse, ensure that you avoid any water, spills or damp surfaces. The book cover has been laminated – but treat your clutch in the same way that you would a beloved and treasured book.
About Bookanook Studio:
Your book purse has been handmade with love from my studio on the Central Coast of NSW. All books are sourced from second hand stores and pre-loved shops – so no new or unread books are damaged in the process. Yay to that!
Clutches ( unless specified in the description above) are also sourced from pre-loved stores and upcycled – part of the art of making a book clutch involves selecting clutches and purses that match the colour, theme and dimensions of the book. Clutches are in very good to excellent condition and saved from landfill, so nothing goes to waste. There may be minor imperfections in the clutch, but nothing that will deter from the fabulous look of your special clutch or purse. :)
The manuscripts of books are reused for art projects, book sculptures and scrap booking, so nothing goes to waste. My business philosophy is to recycle and reuse – and to ultimately transform unloved books into wearable pieces of art for book fans to enjoy.
I hope you enjoy your book purse and get as much satisfaction from showing it off as I do making them.
Yours in Books,
